Loftus is just the shortened version of Lofthouse. Jack was my father's brother. The two families lived in different cites, Toronto and Windsor until Marie and I made the decision to move to Toronto ourselves in 1976. Some classic pictures here too plus some more recent pictures of my cousin Tom, his wife Margaret and their two girls. More pictures to be added soon.

The
following few pictures are of my Uncle, Jack Loftus, with members of his Royal regiment
Platoon prior to the fateful raid on Dieppe France August 19, 1942. Many of those
pictured never made it home and many more like my uncle were captured and spent the
remainder of W.W.II in German prison camps.
